In part 5 of the notifications tutorial, we will take a look at the 5th and last pre-defined style for expandable notifications, which is the MessagingStyle. With it we can show a chat log between 2 or more people as a sequence of messages, which each contain a text, a timestamp and a sender. With the RemoteInput class we can also add a direct reply input field to the notification, where the user can send his answer without opening the app. We add the direct reply functionality as a notification action button and catch the input in form of a Bundle with getResultsFromIntent in a BroadcastReceiver.
